Audio Production Tester
Project introduction:
The Device Under Test (DUT) serves as a specialized communication tool intended for firefighters or rescue personnel. Sasken engineered an Audio Signaling Tester customized to meet the production requirements of this device. Our comprehensive services encompassed the entire development and delivery process, including hardware, mechanical components, software, and the design of acoustic chambers.
Customer need:
The customer required a final product tester for their product but lacked the expertise to construct an anechoic chamber with audio testing capabilities.
Sasken’s solution:
We delivered a specialized audio performance testing solution for final product evaluation. Our services included designing the testing system, manufacturing and delivering the setup, constructing an acoustic chamber with absorbers and product-specific jigs, and providing an audio signaling measurement system with calibration equipment and procedures.
Benefits for the customer:
The customer was provided with a comprehensive tester development and delivery package, inclusive of process quality metrics such as Gage R&R, along with user training and commissioning testing conducted in the factory.
