Sasken Finland Oy has dedicated audio measurement system for audio testing in Kaustinen. The system is designed to be expandable in the future for versatile audio tests. Currently the test system allows electrical and acoustical measurements, over 3G or GSM call, with analog or digital connections to device under test.

Possible test cases include (but are not limited to):

• Acoustical performance of transducer (frequency response, linearity, distortion etc)
• Electrical performance of audio electronics (frequency response, linearity, distortion etc)
• Mobile phone call quality verification tests in comformance with 3GPP TS 26.132 specification and limits in conformance with GCF, PTCRP and CTTL requirements.
• Customer specific tests or tests tailor made to customers needs.

The measurement equipment includes:

• Audio chamber (2m x 2m x 2 m)
• Audio Precision AP-2722 audio analyzer
• Rohde & Schwarz UPL audio analyzer
• Rohde & Schwarz CMU-200 network simulator
• Brüel & Kjær Type 3.3 ear HATS (Head and Torso Simulator)
• Brüel & Kjær Type 3.2 ear LRGP
• Brüel & Kjær free field and pressure field microphones
• WaveLab 6 for recording and analyzing
